Sponsorship Options
Content Creators have the option of using ClearBits to collect Sponsorship for their content. Sponsorship is covered under the Financial Distribution Agreement. Selecting "Yes" means have read and agree to this agreement and we will collect or refer sponsorship payments for you. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us.

Passive means no popup is used: when users download content, they are not asked to Sponsor. There is a sponsorship entry box at the bottom of the Content Creator profile and each content listing page. ClearBits collects sponsorship entered, and when the user has more than $10US, they are asked to check out with a Credit Card.

When users download content they are presented with a popup window asking them to name the price they would like to spend to support the Content Creator. If the user inputs nothing, or selects "No", no sponsorship is input. If the user puts in an amount, ClearBits tracks it, and when the total sponsorship is more than $10US, they are asked to check out with a Credit Card.

• Selecting "Remind me later" sends a simple reminder email, 1-2 weeks later.
In this case, the Content Creator puts in their own URL to an external payment provider, such as Paypal, Google Checkout, or Amazon or their own website or sponsorship portal. Users who click "Sponsor" are presented with an external browser window to sponsor this Content Creator.
